Every recipe here runs on a basic ~$30 rice cooker. It earns the nice-to-have tier, not higher: a lidded pot on the stove cooks the same dinner — what the cooker buys is zero attention. We haven't picked the unit we'd put our name on yet; when we have, it will be in the shop.
