The single easiest upgrade for your sleep.
Priority Matrix
Four dimensions, scored 1–6, where six is always the good end: cheapest, quickest, easiest, highest impact. Priority is Impact squared, divided by what it costs you in energy, money and time.
How sure we are
Kept separate from the priority score on purpose: confidence in the evidence never raises how worth-it something is.
What we read
Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews · 2023
Across 17 randomized trials, blue-filtering spectacle lenses probably make little or no difference to computer eye strain, and effects on sleep and macular health remain unclear.
Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics · 2017
A systematic review of randomized trials found no high-quality evidence that blue-blocking spectacles improve visual performance or sleep, ease eye fatigue, or protect the macula.

Where this falls down
Still unknown. Evening amber lenses worn as a way to dim light are a different intervention from clear 'computer glasses' marketed for daytime use — the latter is what this card is about, and that is what the reviews tested.
